Operational Transition, Ownership & Funding Statement

We’re pleased to share that Nexus Ambulance Group is currently progressing through a structured transition into full operational control from the previous service provider.

While services continue to operate under the former company at this time, all operational licences and business permits are scheduled to be formally transferred to Nexus Ambulance Group by February 2026.

This transition represents an important new chapter in our commitment to delivering dependable, professional, and responsive emergency medical services. Our leadership and operational teams are working closely with all relevant stakeholders to ensure a seamless transfer, with no disruption to service delivery.

We sincerely thank our partners, patients, and communities for their continued trust and support as we move forward and strengthen our service offering.

Nexus Ambulance Group is owned and operated by Nexus Network Group, a privately funded organisation supported exclusively by its stakeholders.

Nexus Ambulance Group does not operate under Scottish Government funding or English Government funding and receives no public-sector financial support. Neither Nexus Ambulance Group nor its subsidiary organisations accept donations, gifts, sponsorships, or financial contributions of any nature, nor do they accept funding from the National Health Service (NHS), including NHS bodies, trusts, or affiliated organisations.

This funding and governance model ensures full operational independence, strong organisational integrity, and freedom from external financial influence—allowing us to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, accountability, and service delivery.
