Nexus Ambulance Group is a privately operated, clinically led emergency medical services provider committed to delivering safe, reliable, and high-quality care. Our focus is simple — putting patients first while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, clinical governance, and operational excellence. We are currently in development and preparing to begin operations in late 2027, following the completion of all required licensing and regulatory processes, ensuring that every aspect of our service is safe, compliant, and ready to deliver from day one.

Our team is made up of experienced ambulance professionals, many with backgrounds in NHS Ambulance Services, and this frontline experience shapes everything we do — from how we respond to incidents to how we plan and deliver care. We believe that excellent patient care is built on skilled people, clear decision-making, and the ability to act confidently in fast-moving and high-pressure situations.

Nexus Ambulance Group will provide a range of services including event medical cover, private and contracted ambulance services, and emergency response support. Every deployment is carefully planned with appropriate clinical staffing, detailed risk assessments, and fully equipped resources to ensure safety, efficiency, and consistently high standards of care.

Nexus Ambulance Group operates as part of Nexus Networks Group Limited, which serves as the parent organisation for corporate governance, statutory reporting, and financial oversight. However, the organisation operates with full independence in its day-to-day activities. All operational control, clinical decision-making, and service delivery are managed internally by a dedicated ambulance leadership team, led by the Chief Ambulance Officer, ensuring that all aspects of care remain clinically driven, responsive, and focused on patient needs.

We are fully privately funded and do not receive government or NHS funding, nor do we accept donations or sponsorship. This independence allows us to operate without external influence and maintain a clear and consistent focus on ethical practice, patient safety, and service quality. Our approach is built on accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement, and we are committed to developing our services, supporting our staff, and maintaining the trust of the communities we serve.
