1. Recognition & Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website, viewing any content, or approaching, visiting, or observing any Nexus Ambulance Group Ltd facility, depot, station, vehicle, or operational area, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and unconditionally agree to be bound by every provision set forth in this Legal Notice. If you do not accept these terms, you must cease all use of this website and immediately withdraw from any Nexus Ambulance Group location.

This Legal Notice constitutes a legally binding agreement between you and Nexus Ambulance Group Ltd. It applies to all visitors, members of the public, contractors, suppliers, media representatives, and any person or entity accessing our digital platforms or physical premises.

Nexus Ambulance Group Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Nexus Networks Group Ltd. We provide event medical cover, private patient transport, urgent care response, and clinical support services throughout Scotland. Nothing on this website creates a doctor-patient relationship, nor does it constitute medical advice or a contractual obligation to provide services.

2. Insurance Status, Liability & Risk Assumption

⚠️ INSURANCE CLARIFICATION — CRITICAL NOTICE

Nexus Ambulance Group Ltd does not maintain independent public liability insurance to admit members of the public or unauthorised persons onto its stations, depots, or operational premises.

Public liability insurance, employer’s liability, and general site indemnity are held and maintained exclusively by our parent organisation: Nexus Networks Group Ltd. Insurance coverage extends only to those persons who have received prior written approval and whose visit has been formally logged, authorised, and recorded through the parent entity’s governance systems.

Any person entering Nexus Ambulance Group premises without formal, written approval does so entirely at their own risk. Nexus Ambulance Group Ltd accepts no liability whatsoever for injury, loss, damage, or consequence arising from unauthorised presence. No insurance cover is extended, and no duty of care is assumed toward unauthorised visitors.

Separate Legal Personality: Nexus Ambulance Group Ltd is a distinct legal entity. Its obligations do not automatically bind the parent, nor do the parent’s policies constitute cover for this subsidiary unless formally extended in writing for a specific, authorised purpose.
Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nexus Ambulance Group Ltd excludes all liability for any indirect, consequential, special, incidental, or punitive damages arising from use of this website or presence on our premises.
Indemnity: By approaching or entering our operational sites without approval, you irrevocably agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nexus Ambulance Group Ltd, its officers, personnel, and parent entity from any claim, demand, or expense arising from your unauthorised presence.

3. Site Access Policy — Restricted Premises

🚧 RESTRICTED ACCESS — NO UNSCHEDULED VISITORS

All Nexus Ambulance Group stations, depots, vehicle bases, and operational locations are secure, restricted-access premises. They are not public spaces.

No person shall be admitted without a pre-scheduled appointment and prior written or confirmed approval issued by an authorised representative of Nexus Networks Group Ltd. Any person arriving without such authorisation will be refused entry and turned away immediately.

This policy is enforced to safeguard clinical governance, patient privacy, operational security, emergency response readiness, and insurance compliance. Unscheduled visits compromise all of the above and may be treated as trespass.

Authorisation Requirement: Approval must be in writing and logged in our systems. Verbal requests at the gate or reception do not constitute valid authorisation.
Identification: All authorised visitors may be required to present photographic identification and sign in before being escorted within the premises.
Escort Policy: Authorised visitors must remain escorted at all times. Unescorted movement is prohibited.
Refusal of Access: Nexus Ambulance Group Ltd reserves the absolute right to refuse entry to any person, at any time, for any reason or no reason, without obligation to provide explanation.
Trespass & Law Enforcement: Any person attempting to enter without authorisation may be reported to Police Scotland as a trespasser and may face criminal prosecution. All legal costs incurred shall be recovered from the responsible party.

4. Photography, Filming & Unmanned Aircraft Systems (Drones)

📸 PROHIBITION ON IMAGERY & PERMANENT NO-FLY ZONE

It is strictly prohibited for any person to take photographs, video recordings, or imagery of any Nexus Ambulance Group vehicles, liveries, equipment, stations, personnel, or premises — unless authorised in writing by Nexus Networks Group Ltd.

ALL Nexus Ambulance Group locations are designated PERMANENT NO-FLY ZONES. The operation, launch, or navigation of any unmanned aircraft system (drone) over, above, or within 50 metres of our sites, vehicles, or personnel is prohibited without exception. This restriction applies to all airspace above our property and extends to any drone capable of capturing imagery or data.

Violations will be reported to Police Scotland and the Civil Aviation Authority. We will pursue full legal remedies including criminal prosecution, civil action, and cost recovery against any person breaching these restrictions.

Legislative Basis: Unauthorised drone operations may breach the Air Navigation Order 2016, UK Civil Aviation Authority Regulations, and aviation safety statutes. Photography without consent may also contravene the Data Protection Act 2018, UK GDPR, and privacy legislation where personnel or operational security is concerned.
Operational Security: Our vehicle liveries, station layouts, equipment configurations, and personnel appearances are security-sensitive information. Their dissemination may compromise emergency response safety and is therefore prohibited.
Commercial & Press Requests: Media, commercial filming, or press access requires formal written application, vetting, and the issuance of a temporary filming permit by Nexus Networks Group Ltd. Approval is not granted by implication or website publication.
Enforcement: Imagery or footage obtained in violation of this clause may be demanded for immediate deletion. Failure to comply constitutes an additional offence.
